Machining and assembly fixtures, weldments and weld fixtures, EDM, automation, and more! Tri-V can help enhance your production processes, making them faster, more efficent, or more cost effective!
See below for more information about our capabilities!

Automation allows you to make your processes faster and more efficient. Tri-V has the tools and experience necessary to design and integrate robotics and robotic parts loaders into your work spaces saving time and money. Examples of machines Tri-V built automate the assembly of parts off of a molding press or form, sort, and inspect assembled parts.
Tri-V also automates our own processes to reduce costs. From programming shop floor robots to automatically countersink brass strips or solder fuses to designing and integrating our own assembly line shrink tube ovens, Tri-V is constantly pushing ourselves to be more efficient and more precise through the development of reliable automated processes.

Assembly Fixtures, also called jigs, can be used effectively to reduce your costs of production significantly. Fixtures like these introduce reliable repeatability in your processes and decrease the amount of time needed to setup tooling. You can depend on a fixture to either guide or hold your tool or work piece, ensuring precision and accuracy of the finished product.
Tri-V can design and produce fixtures for any application. Use our expertise to make your process cheaper, repeatable, and more precise.

Whether measuring a machining cut to the thousandth of an inch or verifying the hardness and weight of a produced part is as it should be, inspection fixtures allow for the precise and controlled inspection of parts. Without a fixture for inspection, results may be unreliable and thus even double or triple checking a part’s accuracy would be futile.
Tri-V will produce any kind of inspection fixture for you to ensure that your project is not only repeatable and efficient but also that your quality control is reliable.

From our machine shop to yours, trust Tri-V to produce exactly the machining fixture you need. With our experience in milling, turning, finishing, assembly, and more, we know what’s necessary and we know what works. For one off projects or production jobs for thousands of parts, we can design and build a machining fixture that ensures accuracy, precision, and efficiency.

Sinker EDM, also referred to as RAM EDM, uses an electrically charged electrode to burn metal into a desired shape. While submerged in an insulating liquid, pulses of sparks jump from a current source to the work piece and heat the metal until melting at that spot. Hundreds of thousands of sparks fly within single seconds causing erosion in the metal and the desired shape can be formed.
Sinker EDM is most useful for parts requiring high tolerance or corner radius.

Wire EDM works similarly to Sinker EDM, except that a single string of thin metal wire is used as the electrode. Wire EDM has many advantages compared to other metal cutting processes. It can cut very specific and very intricate shapes to within ten thousandths of an inch without the need for deburring or other cleanup afterwords and is not affected by the hardness of a material. Because EDM does not involve contact, very fragile parts that cannot withstand other machining processes can be cut effectively. Most importantly, EDM is completely automated and computer run meaning you’ll get virtually the exact same part, no matter how detailed, every single time.
